Dr. Joshua Jameson

Successful Integration of Massage and Chiropractic Care

After completing chiropractic school, Dr. Joshua Jameson opened up a private practice named Body in Balance, located in the Spring Wellness Center at 1810 Summit, Kansas City, Missouri.

Jameson adopts a holistic approach to the body and focuses on dis-ease rather than disease. He says, “When I think about treating the body, I focus on what I think of as dis-ease—where the body is out of alignment from its optimal position to some degree. When the body is out of alignment, it causes indirect pressure and a physical stress on the nerves which over-stimulates the nervous system. When the nervous system is in this state, it becomes compromised and makes the body vulnerable to disease and pain."
